Dr. Nadja Kabisch

Interests: Dr. Kabisch’s research interests include global change challenges in cities (urbanization, climate change, demographic change), nature-based solutions and ecosystem services in cities, urban climate resilience, environmental justice and health in the context of global change, multi-method approaches to quantify regulatory and cultural ecosystem services of urban parks (measurements of air and soil moisture and temperature; Park-wide modeling; questionnaire surveys, observations, and counts of park visitor use behavior under heat conditions); and governance analysis to implement the Nature-based Solutions (NBS) concept in cities and urban planning strategies.
